South Africa

“There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.”

Nelson Mandela

Restoring Connection and Balance

Many South Africans live with the emotional impact of social inequality, violence, loss, and generational trauma. Sandplay provides a gentle, nonverbal way to process these deep emotional wounds — helping individuals reconnect with a sense of safety, dignity, and self-worth.

“It always seems impossible until it’s done.”

A Tool for Transformation

In essence, Sandplay Therapy aligns beautifully with the South African spirit — resilient, creative, and rooted in storytelling. It reminds us that healing doesn’t always need words; sometimes, all it takes is sand, symbols, and the courage to explore what lies within.

Shongolollo

Shongolollo is a Zulu word used to describe a millipede.

Its is also called a Rain worm.
Many believe when you see the millipede, rain is soon to come.

Some children refer to it as Hundreds & Thousands, because of the many legs.

Motto

Shongolollo’s mottom is to help hundreds to help thousands. Just as the rain Worm has hundreds and thousands of feet, weak to help many, many, many other children.

Who will inspire many, many, many adults to inspire many, many, many other adults to build a community where every person is valuable and contributes to a better living standard in our beloved country.
